IGMAS Gaming Completes Successful Conversion Services Engagement with Colony Resorts LVH


LAS VEGAS (August 20, 2004) - IGMAS Gaming, a division of IGMAS Technologies, Inc. announced the successful completion of its engagement with Colony Resorts LVH Acquisitions, Inc. at the Las Vegas Hilton. The engagement with the Las Vegas Hilton included outsourced IT services including project management, technical engineering resources, and on-going help desk services to the property and it team members. The Las Vegas Hilton was purchased by Colony Resorts LVH from Caesars Entertainment June 18th.


"We were very appreciative of the assistance and expertise that was provided to us from the IGMAS team in the areas of project management, network infrastructure design and consulting, network engineering resources, and help desk support services," stated Colony Resorts LVH Executive Vice President of Finance, Bob Schaffhauser. IGMAS’ involvement, Schaffhauser continued, was "a fine example of personal commitment, perseverance, and diplomacy that raised the level of the entire project team’s performance".

David Miller, IGMAS’ Vice President of Gaming and Hospitality Services indicated that outsourcing key roles is such efforts are becoming more the norm in today’s business environment. "It is our experience that many organizations are seeking outsourced services to assist with managing specialty projects, to supplement their own resources when additional staffing is needed, and to gain the necessary expertise and experience that is too costly to maintain with in-house staffing."


Colony Resorts LVH will invest up to $67 million over a four-year period to renovate the hotel, including updates to the guest rooms, restaurants and casino area and will focus on developing convention business for the hotel. It has further entered into an agreement with Hilton Hotels Corporation pursuant to which the hotel will continue to use certain elements of the Hilton brand, primarily The Hilton Reservation System. The firm intends to continue the operation of the property as a hotel-casino, and may construct additional facilities on land that is currently unused.
